When I'm working on a project, my time is spent in two main areas:
COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN of all things related to a custom home. Of course it includes architectural design of the main house and any other buildings on the site, but there are other macro and micro aspects of a building that needs to be thought about and communicated to the builder through drawings that show and detail these aspects. This ensures that you’ll get better bids based on unambiguous information.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT is the oil that keeps your project running smoothly on track. I guide you through the complicated process of designing and building a custom home, by helping you with planning and prioritizing, asking pertinent questions, answering your questions, anticipating issues, maintaining project schedule, coordinating the team, and providing counsel. I hire consultants to do the structural and civil engineering. Depending on your project needs, I can refer you to surveyors, soil engineers, mechanical engineers, realtors, builders, interior designers, and landscape designers. I collaborate with all of these providers so that your project comes together with a unified vision under one leadership. It takes the stress and anxiety out of the process.
Most of my clients are young families, working professional jobs or running their businesses. They have busy lives and limited time. They desire a home in central Austin that is done right and will be an investment they're proud to call home ... without having to put their lives on hold to design and build a well-thought out custom home. They appreciate that they don't have to manage the logistics of their project.
